Weekend Predictions
This weekend the biggest game of the season so far will take place at Anfield between league leaders Liverpool and League Cup winners Manchester City. Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers plans to "unleash" the power of the home supporters on City, while Manuel Pellegrini does not believe that victory for either side will decide the destination of the title. Three points for either team will not guarantee victory in the league but will put them in pole position. Chelsea, who are still very much in contention will play Swansea later on Sunday afternoon.
There will also be a crucial match at the bottom of the table between Norwich, who sacked Chris Hughton earlier this week, and Fulham who gave themselves some hope of staying up with victory at Villa Park last Saturday. I don't understand why Norwich decided to sack Hughton with five games to go and replace him with Neil Adams, somebody who has never managed at this level. Time will tell if proves to be the correct call by the Canaries board.
I will also predict the scores of the two FA Cup semi finals while I am at it. It is 3 points for the correct score and 1 point for the right result. The predictions for the FA Cup matches are for 90 minutes.
