This week Arsene Wenger remained defiant despite the fact that Arsenal lost in successive home games against Blackburn and Bayern Munich in different cup competitions. His team are still in the Champions League by the way. Fifa finally announced that technology will be used in a competition that really matters. Whether Ireland will be there or not is unknown but goal line technology will definitely be used at Brazil 2014.
This weekend there will be nine Premier League games as well as the League Cup Final between Swansea City and League Two side Bradford. What chance of an upset? There will be every chance if Swansea play like they did at Anfield last Sunday.
For the first time on this blog I will have some competition for the weekend predictions. Brendan Ryan who is a Manchester United fan from Tipperary Town has accepted the task of taking on the master (that's me by the way). 3 points for a correct score and 1 point forthe right result.
